Mopping a clear hallway floor after removals

1 · YOUR FIRST CALL

One booking for the whole property

During the first call, walk us through the layout. Start with the entrance and include the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms and washrooms. Tell us if a room used as an office also needs cleaning.

Then describe the condition and your checkout instructions. Grease, mineral deposits, pet hair or stored belongings all affect how the work should be discussed. Photos are helpful where a room count alone would give the wrong impression.

2 · QUOTE AND BOOKING

Your quote and appointment

We explain the cleaning price and the rooms and appliances it covers. If you need carpet treatment, upholstery cleaning or additional windows, tell us before the appointment is arranged.

Booking also means deciding how the cleaners will enter and finish. Let us know about entry systems, stairs, lifts and any access restrictions, together with the person responsible for receiving the keys.

GUIDE PRICES

End of tenancy cleaning prices

Two-bedroom property: from £245 without carpet cleaning, or £275 with carpet cleaning.
Three-bedroom property: from £307 without carpet cleaning, or £337 with carpet cleaning.

These are starting prices for the property or room, rather than an hourly rate. Your total depends on the size and condition of the home and any extra work. We’ll confirm the price and what it includes before you book. Minimum charges and booking terms apply, appointments depend on availability, and any congestion charge is extra.

Tell us if you need the oven or other appliance interiors cleaned. We’ll explain the work included in your quote and whether an oven-cleaning offer applies.

3 · BEFORE WE ARRIVE

Before the cleaners arrive

Plan for the rooms to be available once removals are complete. Clear cupboard interiors, food storage and bathroom shelves, and remove household rubbish. Anything left behind can block the surfaces you want the cleaners to reach.

Keep power and water connected. A fridge or freezer may need preparation before an interior clean, so ask rather than switching it off at the last minute. Let us know if another part of your move changes the appointment conditions.

4 · ON ARRIVAL

A look through before we start

On the day we check the actual layout and tasks with the booking. Show us any fragile fittings or existing damage, including surfaces with specific care requirements.

If an extra room or appliance has been missed, we discuss that before changing the work. We then clean through the accessible areas, completing surface work before the final vacuuming and hard-floor cleaning.

5 · HOW WE CLEAN

How we clean your home

Kitchen and appliances

Kitchen work covers the accumulation around cooking and food preparation: greasy hob surfaces, splashbacks, sink fittings and marks on cupboard fronts. Emptied interiors and booked appliances are addressed as agreed, including suitable removable parts where accessible.

Bathrooms and toilets

In bathrooms we clean the sanitaryware, shower or bath, glass and fittings, using suitable treatment for removable deposits. We take account of the surface material and wipe or rinse away residue before completing the floor.

Bedrooms, living rooms and floors

Living rooms and bedrooms receive attention to accessible shelves, doors, handles, skirting boards and internal window areas in the checklist. We vacuum available carpeting and floor edges, then clean suitable hard flooring. Booked fabric treatments are distinct from this general room work.

If furniture is staying

In furnished rooms we clean the hard surfaces discussed at booking, including tables, shelves and emptied storage. Clear your belongings before the appointment so we can reach them.

Tell us which beds, sofas and cabinets stay with the property. Fabric cleaning needs a separate request, and heavy or fixed furniture may prevent access behind or underneath it.

Carpets and other treatments

Name the rooms and stairs needing carpet cleaning, including any specific stains. We will explain the option in your quotation and discuss drying time.

Request upholstery cleaning for individual sofas or chairs, and describe any extra window cleaning. Equipment, access and timing need arranging beforehand.

6 · COMPLETION AND KEYS

Checking the work and returning keys

Before leaving, we revisit the cleaned rooms and check for missed dust, smears and residue. If you or a representative attends, walk through with us and raise a point about the cleaning while the team is there.

The key handover follows the arrangement made at booking. Keep your completion contact available, and use the booking details with clear photographs if a concern is raised afterwards so we can review the specific cleaning item.

Questions about your Clapham clean

Does the room count include an office?

Tell us about every room needing cleaning, whatever it is used for. The layout helps us quote for the whole property.

Should I mention the downstairs WC?

Yes. Include all washrooms as well as the main bathroom so their cleaning is discussed before booking.

Can an agent provide access?

Arrange that with the agent and give us their entry instructions. We also need a contact and clear directions for keys at completion.

What happens if I forgot an appliance?

Contact us before the appointment to discuss it. Additional interiors need considering with the cleaning price and work planned for the visit.

Do you clean a furnished living room?

We can include its hard surfaces and storage. Tell us what remains and ask separately about fabrics needing treatment.

What if more rooms need cleaning on the day?

Tell us as soon as the change is known. We discuss changed work with you rather than assuming it is covered by the original booking.
