1 · YOUR FIRST CALL

Cleaning after a shared tenancy

Choose a contact who can describe the whole home when calling. Include communal rooms and bathrooms as well as bedrooms, and tell us whether each room will be empty or still contain landlord furniture.

Shared kitchens can have several appliances and storage areas. Name the oven, fridge or other interiors that need attention, and describe heavy buildup honestly. If different tenants have received different checkout instructions, bring those together before the quotation.

2 · QUOTE AND BOOKING

Your quote and appointment

We give you the price for the cleaning discussed, including your choice of carpet option. If sofas or chairs also need treatment, mention them before booking so we can arrange the right work.

Arrange access through one named person and agree who can authorise a question about the booking during the visit. We also need clear completion instructions so the cleaners are not left deciding between conflicting key-return requests.

GUIDE PRICES

End of tenancy cleaning prices

One-bedroom property: from £208 without carpet cleaning, or £238 with carpet cleaning.
Two-bedroom property: from £245 without carpet cleaning, or £275 with carpet cleaning.

These are starting prices for the property or room, rather than an hourly rate. Your total depends on the size and condition of the home and any extra work. We’ll confirm the price and what it includes before you book. Minimum charges and booking terms apply, appointments depend on availability, and any congestion charge is extra.

Tell us if you need the oven or other appliance interiors cleaned. We’ll explain the work included in your quote and whether an oven-cleaning offer applies.

3 · BEFORE WE ARRIVE

Before the cleaners arrive

Ask every departing tenant to remove their food, toiletries and personal items before cleaning. A cupboard is ready for interior cleaning only when all its shelves are accessible, not when one person’s belongings have been collected.

Leave utilities running and clear the floors of bags and moving boxes. Confirm fridge and freezer preparation with us early. If one tenant’s removals slip behind schedule, tell us before the appointment so we can review the effect on access.

4 · ON ARRIVAL

A look through before we start

The arrival review checks that the shared and private rooms match the booking. We note surfaces requiring care and ask you to identify damage or fragile fittings before choosing products.

Any areas still occupied or used for storage need to be discussed. With the scope settled, we work through the accessible property so dust and debris from surface cleaning are dealt with before the floors are finished.

5 · HOW WE CLEAN

How we clean your home

Kitchen and appliances

The kitchen gets attention to cooking grease, worktop marks, the sink and splashbacks, along with emptied cupboards in the booking. We clean accessible oven and other appliance interiors where agreed, removing loosened residue rather than leaving cleaning solution on food-contact surfaces.

Bathrooms and toilets

For each bathroom, we clean the basin, toilet and bath or shower, then accessible fittings and glass. Soap film and removable limescale receive suitable treatment, with the products selected for the material rather than the amount of visible buildup alone.

Bedrooms, living rooms and floors

Bedrooms and communal rooms receive cleaning of accessible ledges, door surfaces, handles, skirtings and agreed storage. Vacuuming reaches available floor edges. Suitable hard floors are mopped, and any booked specialist carpet or fabric treatment follows its own requirements.

If furniture is staying

We clean the hard furniture surfaces included in furnished rooms, such as tables, shelving and empty wardrobes. Everyone should remove their own items before the visit.

Identify the furniture that belongs to the landlord. Sofas or chairs needing fabric treatment require separate discussion, as do heavy pieces blocking the floor or wall behind them.

Carpets and other treatments

For carpet cleaning, combine the household’s requests into one room list. Tell us about stairs, marks and the time available for drying.

List any upholstery cleaning or extra window cleaning too. It helps us arrange one clear visit instead of receiving conflicting instructions on the day.

6 · COMPLETION AND KEYS

Checking the work and returning keys

We check the cleaned rooms before finishing, including shared areas that can be overlooked during packing. You or your representative can look through the work with us and raise a cleaning concern before collecting the keys.

Use the same named contact for completion and key return. If a cleaning issue is reported later, send a clear location and photographs with the booking details so the concern can be considered under the agreed terms.

Questions about your Brixton clean

Can one tenant arrange cleaning for everyone?

Yes, use a contact who knows the whole property and can give the room list, access instructions and key arrangements for the household.

What if a bedroom is still occupied?

Tell us beforehand. We need to discuss what can be cleaned and how remaining belongings affect the booked room work.

Should each tenant empty their cupboard?

Yes. Storage needs to be clear of everyone’s food and belongings before we can clean the interior surfaces.

Who should meet the cleaners?

Choose a person who can provide access and answer questions about the booking. We also need to know who receives keys after the clean.

Can we add the communal carpet?

Discuss it with the rest of the room list before booking. We will explain the carpet option, covered areas and drying considerations.

What if we receive different checkout instructions?

Bring them together and share the cleaning requests with us before the quotation. One complete set of instructions makes the visit easier to arrange.
