1 · YOUR FIRST CALL
Call with your moving date and describe the rooms being handed back. We need the number of bathrooms as well as bedrooms, and any separate living room, hallway or staircase needing attention.
Tell us what your landlord is leaving in the property and what you are taking away. An empty cabinet, furnished bedroom and packed storage room offer very different access for cleaning.
2 · QUOTE AND BOOKING
We discuss the tasks, then explain the price before you book. Include any carpet cleaning, upholstery or additional windows at this stage so you are not relying on work that has not been arranged.
Choose an appointment after your move is clear of the rooms. We agree how the cleaners will get in, a contact number during the visit and the instructions for returning keys.
GUIDE PRICES
Two-bedroom property: from £245 without carpet cleaning, or £275 with carpet cleaning.
These are starting prices for the property or room, rather than an hourly rate. Your total depends on the size and condition of the home and any extra work. We’ll confirm the price and what it includes before you book. Minimum charges and booking terms apply, appointments depend on availability, and any congestion charge is extra.
Tell us if you need the oven or other appliance interiors cleaned. We’ll explain the work included in your quote and whether an oven-cleaning offer applies.
3 · BEFORE WE ARRIVE
Clear kitchen shelves, drawers and booked appliance interiors. Take away leftover food and rubbish. Ask us about fridge and freezer preparation so the inside is ready to clean when we arrive.
The team needs working water and electricity. If your tenancy arrangements mean either will be switched off, tell us before booking; also let us know about outstanding repairs or late removals.
4 · ON ARRIVAL
We begin with a look around the property and check any particular concerns you have mentioned. Show us sensitive materials and damage that is already present, such as a chipped basin or marked worktop.
If an area cannot be reached or the property has changed, we discuss it with you. Cleaning follows the available rooms, with floor finishing left until the dusting and wiping are complete.
5 · HOW WE CLEAN
We clean the kitchen’s work surfaces and cooking area, removing grease and food marks with suitable products. Cupboard fronts, emptied interiors and booked appliances are worked through along with the sink, taps and accessible splashbacks.
In the bathroom we tackle soap residue and removable limescale where suitable, clean the toilet and basin and work through the bath or shower. We wipe the fittings, screens and mirrors before cleaning the floor.
Room cleaning takes in accessible furniture surfaces, doors, handles, ledges and skirting boards, plus the internal window areas included in the checklist. We vacuum carpeting and clean suitable hard floors; specialist fabric work needs its own booking.
If the home is furnished, tell us which items remain. We clean the hard surfaces included in the room work, including emptied shelving and storage.
Remove personal belongings from furniture beforehand. Fabric treatment and access behind heavy pieces need separate discussion when you describe the property.
For carpet cleaning, provide the areas and any marks you are concerned about. We will explain the option and drying considerations.
Ask about upholstery cleaning or further window cleaning during your call so the items and access can be considered.
6 · COMPLETION AND KEYS
We check the cleaned areas before leaving so missed dust or streaks can be picked up. If you are meeting us at completion, take the opportunity to walk through the property together.
The visit ends with the key arrangement you gave us. For a cleaning concern noticed afterwards, send the booking reference, photographs and the exact area affected so we can consider the issue under the terms.
Yes, discuss their interiors when booking and leave them completely empty so the shelves and corners can be cleaned.
Describe it during the enquiry. We can explain the furniture surface work and any restrictions or separate treatments involved.
Ask us about preparation before the appointment. Interior cleaning needs an empty appliance and any defrosting arranged beforehand.
Tell us where they will be. Boxes can block surfaces and floor edges, so clearing the rooms first gives better access.
