END OF TENANCY CLEANING · POPLAR

End of Tenancy Cleaning Poplar

Your Poplar tenancy clean starts before the team arrives: we establish the rooms, interiors and access so the visit can run to a clear plan. We then clean through the available property, check the work and return the keys as arranged.

  • Cleaning tasks and price agreed before booking
  • Kitchen, bathroom and room-by-room cleaning
  • Access and key handover arranged with you

Tell us your moving date and what needs cleaning.

1 · YOUR FIRST CALL

Tell us what will be left inside

Call 020 3404 6962. Tell us the postcode, room count and date you must hand the property back. Explain whether it will be empty or furnished and when your removals finish, so we can discuss the appointment at the right stage of the move.

We ask about the appliances, bathroom condition and any extra treatment you need. Have the checkout checklist ready if there is one, and mention areas such as carpeted stairs or an additional shower room rather than assuming they are covered by the bedroom count.

2 · QUOTE AND BOOKING

The quote and appointment

We explain the quoted cleaning and check the interior work with you before booking. Carpet and upholstery treatment are discussed separately. Once the job is clear, we look at appointment availability and your handover deadline together.

Tell us who provides entry and any building or unloading instructions. We agree the day contact and the key return in advance, so you can leave us to the cleaning if the rest of the move takes you elsewhere.

GUIDE PRICES

End of tenancy cleaning prices

One-bedroom property: from £208 without carpet cleaning, or £238 with carpet cleaning.
Two-bedroom property: from £245 without carpet cleaning, or £275 with carpet cleaning.

These are starting prices for the property or room, rather than an hourly rate. Your total depends on the size and condition of the home and any extra work. We’ll confirm the price and what it includes before you book. Minimum charges and booking terms apply, appointments depend on availability, and any congestion charge is extra.

Tell us if you need the oven or other appliance interiors cleaned. We’ll explain the work included in your quote and whether an oven-cleaning offer applies.

3 · BEFORE WE ARRIVE

Preparing for cleaning day

Remove rubbish and belongings and leave room surfaces clear. Cupboards and appliances booked for interior cleaning need to be emptied, including food and loose items. That lets us reach the corners and shelf bases, not just the fronts.

The property needs working water and electricity. Ask about freezer preparation before the day, and let us know about moving delays or repair work that could affect entry or leave the rooms uncleared.

4 · ON ARRIVAL

We look through the rooms first

We review the booked rooms on arrival and look at any concerns you have highlighted. Show us damaged areas and sensitive finishes so we can take their condition into account before choosing cleaning products.

If the work differs from your description, we discuss it before extending the job. We then clean reachable surfaces and interiors first, keeping the final floor work until dusting and bathroom and kitchen tasks are complete.

5 · HOW WE CLEAN

The details we clean throughout your rental

Kitchen and appliances

In the kitchen, we remove loose food and work through the grease left by cooking. Suitable worktops, hob surrounds, splashbacks and extractor surfaces are cleaned, with the loosened residue wiped away. Empty cupboards are cleaned inside and the appliance interiors in your quote attended to, including suitable removable parts. The sink and taps are finished after the dirtier work, with cleaning-product traces removed from the surrounding surfaces.

Bathrooms and toilets

We clean the basin, toilet, bath or shower and the fittings around them. Soap buildup and removable scale need treatment before a screen or tap can receive its finishing wipe. We choose products for the material, clean mirrors and glass and finish the floor after the other work. The cleaning product needs to suit the surface.

Bedrooms, living rooms and floors

We work down through each room, from ledges and shelves to doors, touchpoints and skirting boards. The internal window areas in your booking are cleaned before the floor finish. Vacuuming follows dusting, including the carpet edges, and suitable hard floors are mopped once the surfaces above are complete. Empty storage and cleared corners allow us to clean more than the parts normally on view.

Furniture staying with the tenancy

If furniture is staying, tell us what belongs to the tenancy. We clean the booked accessible hard surfaces, so clear table tops, shelves and drawers before the appointment.

Let us know about heavy furniture and fitted units that limit reach. A sofa’s fabric requires a separate treatment discussion; cleaning the accessible hard furniture surfaces does not automatically include upholstery work.

Adding carpet and fabric work

Ask for carpet cleaning by room and staircase. Describe visible marks and confirm the option you need, then discuss drying time before arranging an inspection directly after the visit.

For upholstery cleaning, list the actual items and known fabric details. Additional window cleaning should also be discussed with the windows and access identified before we book the work.

6 · COMPLETION AND KEYS

Our final review before the keys go back

Our closing check looks back over the cleaning for dust, streaks and residue. If you are there, walk through with the team and show us any cleaning detail you would like reviewed before we finish.

We follow your key-return instructions. Contact us promptly with photos and booking information if a cleaning concern appears later, for review under the booking terms. Cleaning cannot repair worn or damaged materials or decide a deposit outcome.

Questions about your Poplar end of tenancy clean

Is a building entrance code enough for access?

Tell us the full route into the property, including who provides the flat keys and any building instructions. We also need a contact if an entry question arises.

Can I book from my new address?

You can arrange the clean remotely. We need a clear description of the property, agreed entry, a day contact and instructions for completion and key return.

Do you need to know about an extra shower room?

Yes, include every bathroom and separate room in the enquiry. It should be part of the room list used to discuss the service and price.

Can I include only the carpets that need treatment?

Give us the exact rooms and any stairs you want treated. We discuss your chosen carpet option from that list and talk about drying before handover.

What should stay in the cupboards being cleaned?

Leave them empty. Remove food, utensils and other belongings so we can clean the shelves and corners rather than working around the contents.

Are outside windows part of the room clean?

Additional or external window cleaning needs a separate discussion. Identify the windows and access available so we can explain and quote for that work.
